What this site collects

This is a personal publication site. There are no accounts, no payments, and no forms other than the one described below. This page describes what actually happens, and nothing that does not.

The newsletter

If you enter your email address in the subscribe form, that address is the one piece of information this site collects from you. It is stored with Resend (Resend, Inc.), the email service that holds the mailing list and sends the mailings, and it is used for one purpose: sending you the research published here. It is not sold, shared, or used for anything else.

Every mailing includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list. You can also write to grant@grantstell.com at any time to be removed, to ask what is held about you, or to have it deleted. Addresses stay on the list until you leave it.

The subscribe endpoint briefly sees your IP address to limit abuse of the form. That check runs in server memory and the address is not written to any store.

No analytics, no visitor cookies

No analytics scripts run on this site, and it sets no cookies for visitors. That is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to. The one exception is the site's private publishing area, which sets a login cookie for its operator only; ordinary visitors never touch it.

Hosting

The site is served by Vercel Inc. Like any web host, Vercel processes the requests your browser makes, including your IP address, in order to deliver pages, and keeps standard server logs under its own privacy policy. This site does not add to what a host sees by default.

Links that leave this site

Outbound links, including Calendly for scheduling and profiles on LinkedIn and X, take you to services with their own privacy policies. What they collect once you are there is governed by those policies, not this one.

Requests

For anything privacy-related, write to grant@grantstell.com. Since the only personal data held is a mailing-list address, most requests resolve by deleting one row.
